أوراق على حبل غسيل، نشرناها إمبارح على حبال سيرين الأحمد، ومحمد عبدالهادي، في بوكس آت كافيه، مع عزف حمزه وأرام ويعقوب و خليل

الفكره كانت جد روعه، وهي ببساطه إنه الناس إتجمّعوا، رسموا أفكارهم وفضايحهم ( أنا فضيحتي كانت جد غير شكل)، وبعدين نشروها على هالحبل بجانب أوراق هي (سيرين) وهو(محمد) المصممين والرسّامين المبدعين فعلاً، وأنا شخصياً حبيت شغلهم كتير،اللي جمّعوه في كتاب وسموه أوراق على حبل غسيل، وإحتفلوا بإطلاقه إمبارح مع الناس في نفس المكان (بوكس آت كافيه) ، واللي بتقدروا تلاقوا هالكتاب فيه . خلينا إنشوف إشوية غسيل

Khobbeizeh in JSFF!

Happily, I will take place in Jordan Short Film Festival '07, but this time as a Judge :) beside the Grand Jury, Hiba Judeh, Wael Attli and myself will be the members of the Jordanian Bloggers' Award Jury, to enjoy and evaluate the competition films. On last day, we will announce the best Arabic & best international films. Many thanks to Hazim Bitar, Director of the festival, for giving me the honor.

Kick off is tomorrow, August 24th, and it'll stay until August 30th, at Al Hussein Cultural Center, Ras El-Ein, near the Greater Amman Municipality, here is the schedule. Admission free.

Best of luck to all the participants, and hope to see you all there, so you can be part of the Audience Choice Award!

Desert Harmony

Desert Harmony is the new CD of the American Jazz artist Noah Howard in collaboration with Jordanian composer Omar Al Faqir. I personally liked it! Today, the CD launching took a place in Dar alAnda, and was followed by a short live performance, organized by OrangeRed, supported by the American Embassy, and sponsored by Blue Fig. Not to forget the wonderful & young Guest Artists: Zeina Barhoum – Vocals, Fadi Elias - Bass, Maher Hanhan – Drums, Aram Hairbedian – Sax and Alaa Faqir – Guitar.
